By working with a talented and experienced designer such as myself, made to measure gives clients the advantage of having a gown created solely for them.
Louise Lontano Bridal use the finest of materials to handcraft beautiful wedding gowns, using techniques that are the basis of the ideals and quality of contemporary Haute Couture.
We offer a private and personal service from initial consultation, at no charge, through to collection and dressing the bride on the day.
Using 3D pattern cutting techniques we can produce any style of dress as long as it is compatible with the chosen fabric.
Throughout the process special attention is given to the cut and fit of each gown. This is achieved through several fittings where a mock up, toile, of the gown will be created and developed. The toile is a copy of the finished garment and provides the opportunity to fine-tune the fit, add to or modify the design. Once the fit has been achieved the material is then cut out and sewn on top of the layers that make up the toile. The dress is then hand finished and becomes a beautiful made gown in silk.
